In order to celebrate the Vietnamese ethnic culture day (19.4) and towards the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued a plan to organize a series of cultural and propaganda activities widely, practical and meaningful across the province.
The series of activities was organized to affirm the historical stature of the resistance war against the US to save the country, the leadership role of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh in the cause of national liberation. At the same time, this is also an occasion to honor the traditional cultural values, contributing to strengthening the great national unity bloc, improving the spiritual life for the people, especially ethnic minorities in the western area of Nghe An.
The highlight of the event series is a special art program to celebrate the Vietnamese ethnic culture day, expected to take place at 20h on April 19, 2025 in Nghia Dan district.
The program brings together many cultural identities such as gongs, dancing stalls, carving ... with the participation of artisans and ethnic community in the area. The organization is carried out in the spirit of economical, efficient, safe and propaganda orientation.
Along with that, in April, at Ho Chi Minh Square (Vinh City), the theme exhibition "Nghe An with the resistance war against the US to save the country", introducing many valuable images and documents on patriotism, revolutionary tradition and great contributions of Nghe An army in the independent and unified national defense.
Propaganda activities are also widely implemented in many forms: hanging flags, banners, slogans, visual supporters; Propagating through the radio, press, television, web portal, social networks ... contributing to creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere, spreading strongly in the community.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province is assigned and coordinated with the People's Committee of Nghia Dan and related departments, branches and localities to ensure synchronous, solemn and imbued implementation of national cultural identity.
