On August 6, the Thanh Ha Commune Party Committee, Hai Phong City held the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term. This is an important political event after the establishment of the commune on the basis of merging Thanh Ha town, Thanh Tan commune and Thanh Son commune (old Thanh Ha district). The commune Party Committee currently has 55 affiliated party organizations with 1,830 party members.
In the 2020 - 2025 term, the Commune Party Committee has achieved and exceeded 15/16 of the set targets, notably the average income per capita of 78.3 million VND/year, an increase of 1.5 times compared to the beginning of the term.
This Congress sets out 27 main targets with 3 breakthroughs: developing ecological agriculture associated with value chains and digital transformation; building modern and synchronous infrastructure; improving the quality of culture - tourism, building local brands.
At the Congress, 7 key projects were identified to be implemented during the term, including: upgrading traffic routes; developing tourism in the fabric trees, Dong Man tourist area, Huong River Eco-zone; building Thanh Binh Eco- Urban Area, commune central market, Thanh Khe kindergarten; upgrading people's cemeteries and village cultural houses.
Speaking at the congress, Mr. Le Tien Chau - Secretary of the Hai Phong City Party Committee highly appreciated the results achieved by the Thanh Ha Commune Party Committee in recent times; at the same time, emphasized the commune's key role in the ecological agricultural development strategy associated with experiential tourism and annual rainwater trees.
The Secretary of the Hai Phong City Party Committee requested the locality to focus on methodical planning, promote digital transformation, invest in essential infrastructure, build a green agricultural model, farmstay, homestay and link agricultural product consumption. Regarding Party building work, the Secretary of the Hai Phong City Party Committee proposed to innovate development thinking, build a team of young cadres with qualifications, political courage and the ability to adapt to tasks in the new period.
The Congress announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Thanh Ha Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tam was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Commune Party Committee; Mr. Bui Minh Khiem was appointed as Permanent Deputy Secretary; Mr. Tran Duy Thuoc was appointed as Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the Commune People's Committee.
