According to a report from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) of Dak Nong province, in 2024, the weather in the area will not be favorable.

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has reviewed and synthesized proposals from localities on funding to support overcoming the consequences.

Up to now, the department has sent a document requesting the Department of Finance to advise the Provincial People's Committee to allocate about 5,881 billion VND.

From the beginning of 2024 until now, the province has experienced 11 heavy rains with whirlwinds, hail, landslides, flooding, and thunderstorms.

As a result, one person was killed by lightning, infrastructure and property were damaged. Total damage was estimated at about 11 billion VND.

In addition, prolonged heavy rain caused landslides in districts such as Dak G’long, Dak R’lap, Tuy Duc.

In addition, the impact of storm No. 3 (Yagi) caused landslides, damage, and loss to 11 structures and items.

The agricultural sector has compiled and reported a proposal to support 53,300 billion VND to overcome the problem.
