Tay Yen Tu Spiritual - Ecological Tourist Area (Tay Yen Tu commune, Bac Ninh province) is about 150km from Hanoi. During the April 30 - May 1 holiday, many tourists came here to visit, go to pagodas and pilgrimage to Dong Pagoda (Yen Tu, Quang Ninh).
Expecting a high increase in the number of visitors, the Management Board of Tay Yen Tu Spiritual - Ecological Tourist Area has implemented a promotion program "buy 3 round-trip/one-way cable car tickets, get 1 ticket of the same type", applicable from April 30 to May 3, 2026.
Thanks to this stimulus program, the number of visitors to Tay Yen Tu during the holiday increased sharply.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan - Operations Director of Tay Yen Tu Spiritual - Ecological Tourist Area, during the 4-day holiday of April 30 - May 1, this place welcomed about 15,000 visitors, of which 4,800 visitors used cable cars to go to Dong Pagoda.
The number of visitors this year is much higher than in previous years, partly thanks to the attraction of Hoa Nghiem Bell Tower," Ms. Ngan said.
Hoa Nghiem bell tower is located in a tourist area, a newly inaugurated project. The project is made entirely of ironwood, painted red, located in the middle of a large lake, standing out in the mountainous space.
With its large scale and impressive colors, this project has attracted a large number of tourists from many provinces and cities to visit and excitedly check-in next to the brilliant Hoa Nghiem bell tower.
In the tourist area, there are also many pagodas and central squares, meeting the needs of Buddhist worship and sightseeing of tourists.
