On May 15, leaders of the mountainous commune of Lanh Ngoc, Da Nang City visited and encouraged the family of Mr. Tran Van Hung, residing in hamlet 16, Lanh Ngoc commune, after the house had its roof blown off and was heavily damaged due to a tornado on the afternoon of May 14.
According to initial records, the thunderstorm that occurred on the afternoon of May 14 caused the roof of Mr. Tran Van Hung's house to be blown off, many items were damaged, and household items in the family were affected. Estimated damage is about 40 million VND.

Not only causing damage to houses, storms also caused some areas of areca, agarwood, and acacia hybrid of people in hamlet 16 to be broken and fallen.
Immediately after the natural disaster occurred, the commune police force in coordination with the local military sent officers, soldiers and militia to the scene to support Mr. Hung's family in cleaning up the house, collecting materials, dismantling unsafe items, and moving property to a safe place.
Leaders of the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front of Lanh Ngoc commune and representatives of associations and unions visited and encouraged Mr. Hung's family.

Here, commune leaders shared the difficulties and losses of the family; and encouraged the family to soon overcome the consequences and stabilize their lives. The locality also requested associations and unions to continue to pay attention and provide timely support so that Mr. Hung's family can overcome difficulties after the natural disaster.
