On September 7, the People's Committee of Hiep Duc mountainous commune, Da Nang organized the acceptance and handover of computers and two-sided printers to 8 villages including An Dong, An Tay, Binh An, Binh Hoa, Tam Phu, Hiep Thuan, Binh Kieu and Tra Linh.
As a mountainous area of Da Nang City, Hiep Duc is gradually adding infrastructure and technology equipment to villages to narrow the gap in digital transformation between mountainous and urban areas.
The equipment is brought to the grassroots level to overcome the shortage of working facilities, creating conditions for village officials to receive directing documents, update population data, make online reports and coordinate in solving administrative tasks in the digital environment.

Previously, Hiep Duc commune had synchronously invested in computers, printers, televisions and security camera systems for My Luu village according to the "Smart Village" model, with a budget of more than 114 million VND.
Thus, a total of 9 villages in the commune are supplemented with equipment to serve digital transformation. The total investment cost is 267 million VND, from the commune's science, technology, innovation and digital transformation funding in 2026.
Bringing computers, printers and digital devices down to the village is expected to help grassroots officials in Hiep Duc mountainous commune handle work faster, improve connectivity with commune-level authorities and the quality of service to people.
