On August 4, at the conference "Police listen to people's opinions", many issues directly affecting life in the villages of Tra Lien commune, Da Nang were frankly raised by people.
Tra Lien is a mountainous commune, with a large area, dispersed population, nearly 50% of households are ethnic minorities. In the context of traffic and access to public services still facing many difficulties, inadequacies in order, traffic safety and environment further clearly impact people's daily lives.
One of the issues that is reflected a lot is the situation of underage teenagers still driving motorbikes and motorcycles. On winding mountain roads, many sections are out of sight, children driving themselves pose a risk of accidents for themselves and pedestrians.
People also requested to handle the situation of causing disorder in some residential areas and karaoke lasting overtime, affecting the rest of families.
In addition, garbage collection trucks in some villages operate slowly, causing garbage to accumulate along the road. People believe that this situation not only causes pollution and unsightliness but can also obstruct traffic, especially on narrow roads.
At the conference, Tra Lien Commune Police reported on the security and order situation, crime prevention and control results, and difficulties in the process of performing tasks in mountainous areas.
Representatives of the commune police have answered the contents under their authority, and at the same time received feedback for review and handling. Regarding issues related to garbage collection and traffic infrastructure, the police force said they will coordinate with the government and functional units to find solutions to overcome them.
The forum was organized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tra Lien commune in coordination with the Commune Police, with the participation of representatives of the government, villages and local people.
