After the mobilization process, 59 households in Hai Yen and Kim Mon villages, Chu A Thai commune, Gia Lai province voluntarily donated more than 3,800m2 of land to expand the inter-village road more than 1km long, according to VNA.
The road used to be only about 3m wide, the road surface was degraded, traffic was difficult, especially during the harvest season. Agricultural product purchasing vehicles cannot go deep into residential areas, people have to transport goods themselves to the main road to sell to traders.
When the locality implemented the policy of expanding the road to 8m, many households agreed to dismantle gates, fences, and porches to hand over the site. The road is now more open, creating favorable conditions for travel and transportation of agricultural products.

Mr. Pham Van Hung, a resident of Kim Mon village, said that when the state invested in road construction, people were very excited, so his family proactively reversed the fence to build a cleaner and more convenient road with the locality.
In Hai Yen village, many households also voluntarily dismantled solid structures to serve construction. Mr. Duong Van Phon, a villager, said that donating a part of the land may affect daily life in the short term, but in the long term it will bring benefits to the whole community. According to him, villagers also actively mobilize each other to participate in donating land to build roads.
According to Mr. Do Van Loi, Secretary of the Party cell cum Head of Kim Mon village, the village has 135 households, of which 17 households located on the route have donated land. People realize that the project directly serves life and production, so they highly agree.
In Hai Yen village, Mr. Tran Van Nguyen, Secretary of the Party cell cum Village Head, said that out of a total of 169 households in the village, 43 households located on the road have voluntarily donated land and dismantled fences to create construction ground.

Mr. Pham Van Luong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Chu A Thai commune, said that the locality has established a land clearance mobilization team, mobilized the entire political system to participate in propaganda, creating consensus among the people.
From July 1, 2025 to now, Chu A Thai commune has invested in 18 rural traffic routes with a total length of more than 10km, with a total cost of more than 17 billion VND. People contributed more than 4,700 working days and donated nearly 5,000m2 of land to build roads. In 2026, the commune will continue to deploy 7 new roads with a length of more than 3.5km.
