On February 21, the People's Committee of Thuan Ha commune, Dak Song district, Dak Nong said that the unit had just coordinated with Dak Tien Border Guard Station to organize the 2025 National Border Guard Festival and summarize 10 years (2015-2025) of implementing the National Movement to participate in protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security.
Thuan Ha border commune, was chosen as the festival venue, celebrating the 66th anniversary of the Border Guard's Traditional Day (March 3, 1989 - March 3, 2025) and the 35th anniversary of the National Border Guard's Day (March 3, 1989 - March 3, 2025).

Thuan Ha commune has a border of more than 10km long with 4 main landmarks and 10 secondary landmarks. The commune consists of 7 villages and hamlets with 14 ethnic groups living together.
In recent years, the People's Committee of Thuan Ha commune has coordinated with Dak Tien Border Guard Station to actively propagate and mobilize people to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws.
Propaganda work has been effectively implemented through village and village meetings, Great Unity Day, the "Border learners" and "Border Speakers" programs.
Thanks to that, people are aware, responsible and actively participate in protecting the border and border markers. Currently, 16 groups, 161 households and 179 individuals have participated in self-management of more than 10km of border, 14 national boundary markers; 7 security and order teams for villages and hamlets with 45 members.
Every year, the government coordinates with organizations and Dak Tien Border Guard Station to organize many practical programs such as: Building dozens of Great Unity Houses, supporting thousands of gifts for the poor and near-poor worth billions of dong, giving many livelihood models.
Officers and soldiers also help people harvest crops for thousands of working days and examine and treat diseases.
Dak Tien Border Guard Station has introduced 7 Party members to work in 7 Party cells of villages and hamlets. In addition, 14 Party members are assigned to be in charge of 34 households in the border area.

On this occasion, the Dak Nong Provincial Fatherland Front Committee presented a "Grand Unity" house to a disadvantaged family. The Provincial Border Guard Command, Dak Song District People's Committee, Thuan Ha Commune People's Committee commended 5 collectives and 15 individuals with outstanding achievements.
The Provincial Border Guard Command also awarded 6 scholarships (each worth 3 million VND) to disadvantaged students in the program "Studying your steps to school - adopted children at the Border Guard station".
