Da Nang opens the Quan The Am Ngu Hanh Son 2026 festival part with many unique cultural, artistic and sports activities.

On the morning of April 4, at the campus of Quan The Am Pagoda, the organizers of the Quan The Am Ngu Hanh Son festival, Da Nang City in 2026 opened the festival activities, opening a series of cultural and religious events lasting many days.

According to Da Nang City Electronic Information Portal, speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Ta Tu Binh, Vice Chairman of Ngu Hanh Son Ward People's Committee emphasized that Quan The Am festival has long become a typical cultural and religious activity of the locality, associated with the spiritual life of the people.

The festival is not only an opportunity for compatriots and Buddhists to express their sincere respect towards Duc Quan The Am Bodhisattva, praying for national peace and prosperity, but also contributes to preserving and promoting traditional cultural values, promoting the image of Ngu Hanh Son - Da Nang to domestic and foreign tourists.

Continuing the previous editions, the 2026 festival part is organized with many programs such as art performances, art exhibitions, photography, calligraphy, and folk cultural activities, traditional sports. Activities create a vibrant atmosphere, strengthen community cohesion, according to Da Nang electronic information portal.

The highlight of this year's festival is the "Golden Lotus - Essence of Da Nang Vegetarian Cuisine" contest, along with exhibition and art experience spaces, contributing to enriching the cultural space.

Many activities imbued with folk identity such as chanting bai choi, folk songs, puppetry, village chess festival, traditional boat racing festival on the Co Co River continue to be maintained. In which, the boat racing festival has the participation of 12 teams, including 7 men's teams and 5 women's teams from localities in the city.

Within the framework of the festival, the walk for peace program attracted more than 600 delegates who are representatives of agencies, organizations, businesses, diplomatic missions, foreign consulates and people to participate, contributing to spreading the message of peace, friendship and international cooperation.
