Ho Chi Minh City - Xuan Son commune authorities have organized 2 health check-up teams at home for vulnerable people in the area.

On August 1, Xuan Son commune (HCMC) deployed a team of doctors and nurses to organize mobile health check-ups at home for some priority subjects in Suoi Giau and Suoi Rao hamlets.

The program takes place on August 1 and 2, the examination time is from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM and from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM daily. According to the plan, 71 prioritized subjects who are vulnerable people, the elderly, people with disabilities, people with diseases that cannot walk on their own who are permanently or temporarily residing in the above 2 hamlets will be examined by the medical team at home.

To ensure professional quality, Xuan Son Commune People's Committee has requested the Commune Health Station to coordinate with medical examination and treatment facilities to arrange a full team of doctors and specialists according to the plan. At the same time, requesting the Management Board and the Fatherland Front Committee of Suoi Giau and Suoi Rao hamlets to review and compile a list of vulnerable people who are unable to move on their own; coordinate to support the examination team in the process of implementation; request the Commune Youth Union to send youth union members to participate in supporting information recording, contributing to ensuring that mobile health check-ups take place smoothly, safely and to the right people.

In addition, the locality has also recommended that people examined fast at least 8 hours before taking samples, only drink filtered water and prepare a citizen identification card, health insurance card or VNeID application to compare information.

According to Xuan Son Commune People's Committee, the organization of mobile health check-ups at home shows the concern of local authorities for vulnerable groups, contributing to improving the effectiveness of the universal periodic health check-up program, early detection of diseases and management of people's health.

Thereby, ensuring that all people have access to health care services, not leaving anyone behind in community health care and gradually improving the quality of primary health care in Xuan Son commune.
