The Steering Committee for searching, repatriating and identifying martyrs' remains of Son La province on August 3 organized a survey and search for martyrs' remains in Pua Lai village, To Mua commune.
The delegation included leaders of the Political Department, Provincial Military Command; Department of People with Meritorious Services, Labor and Employment (Son La Provincial Department of Home Affairs); local leaders and functional forces of To Mua commune.
The working group received, studied, and compared information; worked with witnesses and information providers to verify the location of the suspected martyr's grave area. At the same time, coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to survey the field, determine the location, scope of the grave area, terrain characteristics and related traces.

The forces conduct measurements, determine coordinates, make diagrams, take current status photos, complete survey dossiers, verify and organize meetings to evaluate results, and make concluding minutes. Based on the verification results, the Steering Committee mobilizes militia forces to organize digging and searching.
The survey and search for martyrs' remains aims to continue to implement the Party and State's guidelines and policies on military policy work, military rear, contributing to the effective implementation of the search, repatriation and identification of martyrs' remains. This is also an activity that expresses the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source", "Gratitude", meeting the aspirations of relatives of martyrs and the People.
According to the plan, on August 4, the survey team will continue to search and identify martyrs' graves in Tan Thanh village and Long Khua village, Song Khua commune.
