On October 7, information from the People's Committee of Tan Tap commune, Tay Ninh province said that it had organized a special reward for 1 collective and 10 individuals with outstanding achievements in the investigation and quick discovery of 2 property thefts that occurred in the area.
The first case occurred on September 1, 2025. Mr. Pham Dang Khoa (born in 1975, residing in Tan Thanh Hamlet, Tan Tap Commune) reported the loss of a black orange Honda AirBlade motorbike, license plate 62M1-241.38.
Thanks to the rapid implementation of professional measures, Tan Tap Commune Police identified and arrested Nguyen Van Long (born in 2001, residing in Rach Bong Hamlet, Tan Lan Commune, Tay Ninh Province), and at the same time recovered the property and returned it to the victims.
The second case occurred on September 18, 2025 at Nguyen Gia Supply Center (Bac Hamlet, Tan Tap Commune). The thieves broke into and took away 22 mobile phones, 2 laptops, 1 tablet and 23 million VND, with a total damage of about 350 million VND.
Immediately after receiving the report, Tan Tap Commune Police coordinated with Can Giuoc Commune Police and the Criminal Police Department (PC02) of Tay Ninh Provincial Police to urgently investigate.
After only 1 day, the authorities arrested Duong Truong Son (born in 1994, residing in Luy Hamlet, Can Giuoc Commune, Tay Ninh Province), and seized part of the evidence along with the vehicle and uniform used by the subject when committing the crime.
Mr. Nguyen Hoai Thanh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tan Tap Commune - acknowledged and commended the proactive, responsible, and determined spirit of attacking and suppressing crimes of the Commune Police and the grassroots security and order protection force of Tan Tap Commune and Can Giuoc Commune.
The timely rewards aim to encourage and motivate the Commune Police and the masses to continue to uphold vigilance and actively participate in the movement of All People protecting national security, contributing to maintaining security, order and peace in the lives of people in the area, said Mr. Nguyen Hoai Thanh.
