Timely support for Japanese tourist fainting while cycling in Lao Cai

Japanese tourist suddenly fainted while cycling through Lam Giang commune (Lao Cai), was promptly given first aid by functional forces and taken to the health station.

On August 18, in the area of Hop Lam village, Lam Giang commune, Lao Cai province, a Japanese tourist was cycling when he suddenly fainted. Lam Giang commune police coordinated with the commune's medical and military forces to quickly arrive, give first aid and take the victim to the commune health station.

At about 2:40 PM on the same day, immediately after receiving the news, functional forces quickly approached the scene, performed initial first aid, and took the tourist to the health station for further examination and health care.

After a period of being supported by functional forces and medical staff, the man gradually recovered. Through verification, this person was identified as Mr. Tonooka Yoshinori, born on October 17, 1979, Japanese nationality. Mr. Tonooka Yoshinori entered Vietnam on May 28, 2026 for tourism purposes.

Seeing that a foreign tourist had health problems on the journey, Lam Giang Commune Police proactively bought porridge, milk and essential necessities to support his physical recovery.

After his health stabilized, Mr. Tonooka Yoshinori thanked the functional forces and local people for their timely and dedicated support. The tourists then continued their cycling tour towards Bao Ha commune.

The fact that the functional forces of Lam Giang commune promptly provided first aid, took tourists to medical facilities and provided support during the recovery process shows the spirit of responsibility and proactiveness of the grassroots functional forces, contributing to ensuring safety for people and tourists in the area.
