From August 17 to 18, the Border Guard (BGB) of Lao Cai province coordinated with the Department of Justice, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize legal propaganda, foreign information and digital skills dissemination for officials and people of Trinh Tuong border commune.
The program is chaired and coordinated by the Border Guard Command of Lao Cai province at Trinh Tuong Border Guard Station.
The border area of Lao Cai has a large terrain, dispersed population, and the conditions for people to access information are still limited. Therefore, propaganda, dissemination, and legal education play an important role in raising people's awareness and sense of law compliance.
A noteworthy point in this propaganda campaign is the combination of legal content with theatrical forms implemented by the cultural propaganda team of the Provincial Border Guard. Complex legal regulations are conveyed through short skits and skits, close to the lives of people in mountainous areas.

At the program, speakers disseminated practical contents such as three legal documents on borders, the Law on National Borders; the Law on Marriage and Family; prevention and combat of domestic violence and social evils.
People were also analyzed the consequences of early marriage and consanguineous marriage to contribute to changing behavior and lifestyle. Faced with the complicated developments of transnational crime, the reporters guided people to raise their vigilance against human trafficking, smuggling and plots to divide the great national unity bloc.
In addition to legal knowledge, the program focuses on equipping skills to recognize and prevent fraud in cyberspace. People are guided to use smartphones safely, access online public services, install life support applications, produce and protect personal information.
Through this activity, Lao Cai Border Guard contributes to improving digital skills for people, helping people proactively protect themselves from scams in the online environment, and at the same time consolidate the people's hearts at the border.
