On July 15, on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026), Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Ho Chi Minh City led a working delegation to visit and present gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in the city.
The delegation visited Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Ty in Phu Nhuan ward; Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Huu Tai in Khanh Hoi ward. The delegation offered incense to commemorate Heroic Vietnamese Mother Bui Thi Me in Saigon ward and visited and encouraged the family.
At the places visited, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City cordially inquired about health and life, and at the same time, expressed his deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, heroic martyrs and people with meritorious services to the revolution.
Mr. Loc affirmed that gratitude work must be carried out regularly, deeply, specifically and practically, ensuring both material value and spiritual significance. Thereby, showing the morality of "drinking water, remembering the source" and the city's responsibility to people with meritorious services.
