At the Hong Van Border Guard Station, the Border Guard Command of Thua Thien Hue province and the Hong Van Border Guard Station organized a support handover ceremony for Border Guard Company 514, Military Command of Salavan province, Laos.
At the support exchange, representatives of the two sides exchanged information on the situation of protecting territorial sovereignty and border security of the two provinces in the past time. At the same time, they agreed to continue to strengthen coordination, regularly exchange information, and grasp the relevant situation. Strengthen patrol and control activities on both sides of the border; contribute to improving the effectiveness of the fight against all types of crimes on both sides of the border, protecting the peace of the Vietnam - Laos border area.
On this occasion, the Provincial Border Guard Command presented 30 million VND in support, and Hong Van Border Guard Station presented 10 million VND in support to Border Guard Company 514, Salavan Provincial Military Command, Laos.
Speaking at the support event, Colonel Sam Ly Keo Vong Son - Commander of Salavan Provincial Military Command - thanked the sentiments and practical support of the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Border Guard Command and Hong Van Border Guard Station for the 514th Border Guard Company in the recent past. These are practical activities that contribute to supporting and helping the 514th Border Guard Company stabilize their lives and closely coordinate with Hong Van Border Guard Station to firmly manage and protect the common border.
On the same day, at the A Dot - Ta Vang border gate, the A Dot Border Guard Station (Border Guard of Thua Thien Hue province) coordinated with A Roang Kindergarten (A Luoi district) to organize an extracurricular program "Border Lesson" for nearly 100 students with many experiential activities such as: learning about the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Army; the Border Guard force and the special solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
