Many meaningful activities are within the framework of the program "Vu Lan - Dao Hieu & Ethnicity in 2025" organized by the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha.

Notably, the launch of the online writing and painting contest "Lighting Up the Ministry of Love - National soul" will take place from June 3 to July 31, 2025. The organizing committee hopes to create a meaningful playground, contributing to modernizing the inspiration of Hieu Lam, suitable for all classes, especially young people.

With the form of writing and painting competitions, the contest encourages entries to express their filial piety creatively and sincerely. This is a bridge connecting Vu Lan tradition and contemporary breath, spreading Hieu law in each person's heart through art and personal emotions.

It is known that the excellent entries will be selected for display and commendation at the Vu Lan Art Exchange Night at 8:00 p.m. on August 30 at the Vietnam - Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace (Hanoi).

At the same time, outstanding works will also be compiled, selected and printed in books, as a beautiful mark of the filial piety and patriotism of today's Vietnamese youth.

According to Venerable Thich Gia Quang - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Head of the program's organizing committee, Vu Lan is not only a religious ceremony but a reminder for each of us to return to the roots of love, the incomparable deep love of all generations.

Dao Hieu is not only taking care of his parents when old age is weak. Hieu is an interesting gesture, a love word, a growth in personality, a kind, sincere and serving life. Dao Hieu, has long been not only a traditional ritual, but more important, covering the lifestyle, specific actions in everyday life.

The program "Vu Lan - Taoism & Ethnicity in 2025" is also an opportunity to express concern with practical and specific actions, demonstrating the spirit of harmony and attachment between Taoism and Life, between Vietnamese Buddhism and the country's rivers.
