Standing in front of a new spacious house that was just completed more than a year ago, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tiep - a worker at the Weapon - Electronics Enterprise, could not hide his emotion. After many years of living in difficult conditions, his family's dream of a stable home has come true thanks to the joint efforts of the unit and the trade union organization.
As a child of war invalid 4/4, sick soldier 2/3 and working at Ba Son Corporation since 2011, Mr. Tiep has had to live in a collective housing area for many years when his wife's job was not stable and family economic conditions were still limited.
Through the "Comrade House" construction support program, his family received 80 million VND in support, along with encouragement and sharing from colleagues and trade union organizations. On the house handover day, Ba Son Corporation continued to donate essential household items worth 10 million VND, helping the family have more conditions to stabilize their lives.
The house is not only the family's property but also the affection and sharing of the collective for us. This is a great source of encouragement for me to feel secure in my work and continue to strive to complete my tasks well," Mr. Tiep shared.
That joy is also coming to Mr. Pham Hong Ninh - a worker at the Shipwrap Enterprise (Ba Son Corporation), one of the union members who just received a team house in August.
Having a new house, my family has relieved a great worry about housing. This is not only the joy of my family alone, but also a great source of encouragement for me to feel secure in my work. I also hope that brothers, comrades, and teammates in the unit will always try to work hard, gradually stabilize their lives. Especially, when facing difficulties, we always have the concern, sharing and support from the Corporation and teammates. That is a very precious feeling, helping each person to be more confident and attached to the unit," Mr. Ninh said.
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Colonel Nguyen Quang Vinh - Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy General Director of Ba Son Corporation said that for the Corporation, supporting the construction of Team Houses is not only material support, but also shows the concern, responsibility and affection of the unit towards officials and employees.
Based on the actual situation of the unit, we will continue to implement appropriate care activities, so that each worker can more clearly feel the unit's care and sharing for themselves and their families, thereby increasing trust, attachment and striving to complete the assigned tasks well. The warm home given today not only carries material value, but also spreads the spirit of solidarity, mutual support and affection in the unit's collective," Colonel Nguyen Quang Vinh emphasized.
Currently, Ba Son Corporation has more than 1,000 employees working at factories and production units. In 2025, the unit has supported the construction of 3 houses and repaired 2 houses with a total support budget of 320 million VND. In the context of increasingly high production and business tasks, caring for the material and spiritual life and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights of employees is always identified as a key task.
