The Military Command (CHQS) of Dien Bien province in coordination with the People's Committee of Pu Nhung commune has just organized the handover of a comrade's house to soldier Vu A Hung, driver of the Area 4 - Muong Ang Defense Command, residing in Trung Dinh village, Pu Nhung commune.
The house is built in a level 4 style, including 3 main compartments, 1 adjacent kitchen and auxiliary works, porcelain roof, cement floor, wooden rafters, with a total usable area of more than 70m2. The total construction cost is nearly 300 million VND, of which the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank supports 80 million VND, and the rest is contributed by the family.
After more than 1.5 months of construction, with the support of the Military Command, commune militia forces and people with more than 100 working days, the project has been completed and put into use. The new house helps soldier Vu A Hung's family stabilize their accommodation, creating conditions for him to feel secure in his work and attached to the unit.
The activity of building and donating comradeship houses shows the concern of the Party, State and Army for soldiers in difficult circumstances, contributing to the good implementation of military rear policies. This is also a practical activity towards the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Armed Forces of Military Region 2 (October 19, 1946 – October 19, 2026).
