Naval Flotilla 21, Coast Guard Region 2 Command (stationed in Da Nang) has just held the inauguration and handover ceremony of the "Comrade House" to Senior Lieutenant Professional Soldier Le Van Chung (from Phu Tho province), engine staff of Coast Guard vessel 2014, Naval Flotilla 212.
The house was built with a support of 60 million VND from the "For the Poor" Fund of the Ministry of National Defense, according to the decision of the Commander of the Vietnam Coast Guard. The remaining funding is contributed by the family and relatives.
After a period of construction, the house was completed, ensuring quality and meeting the living needs of the family. This is a practical source of encouragement for Captain Le Van Chung, who for many years has always strived to overcome difficulties and complete assigned tasks, but the family's housing conditions are still lacking.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Bach - Deputy Political Commissar of Naval Flotilla 21 - said that the "Comradeship House" construction program shows the concern of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense and commanders at all levels for cadres and soldiers facing housing difficulties.
The house not only carries material value but is also a source of spiritual encouragement, helping soldiers consolidate their beliefs, feel secure in their work, stick with their units and complete their tasks well.
The "Comrade House" program is one of the activities implementing the military rear policy, supporting officers and soldiers in difficult circumstances to stabilize their accommodation. Thereby, contributing to spreading the spirit of mutual affection, comradeship and creating motivation for soldiers to feel secure in performing their duties.
