On October 22, the Farmers' Association of Lac Phuong commune held the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term in the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Development", affirming the central and core role of farmers in building new rural areas, developing ecological agriculture, and civilized farmers.
After merging 3 administrative units, the Farmers' Association of Lac Phuong commune quickly improved the organization, building 18 branches with more than 3,800 members. In the context of many difficulties such as increasing prices of agricultural materials, epidemics on crops and livestock, and unusual natural disasters, the Association still maintains its role as a leader in the production movement, contributing to the development of the rural economy, environmental protection and building new rural areas.
The movement "Farmers compete in good production and business, unite to help each other get rich and reduce poverty sustainably" was widely launched, attracting more than 1,300 registered members to participate. From this movement, thousands of farmers have participated in training courses, transferred science and technology, supported with capital, seeds, and late payment materials.
Many effective production models have been formed, typically the fish farming model in Dong Tam village, the model of producing and consuming yellow sticky rice, the model of growing chili and raising fish and xuyen ha.
The Farmers' Association of Lac Phuong commune aims to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, building an increasingly strong Association organization, truly becoming a core center in farmers' movements and patriotic emulation in the locality.
The Association will promote its role in developing sustainable agriculture, building advanced new rural areas, civilized urban areas; at the same time, promote consulting and supporting farmers to develop the economy, participate in building a clean and strong Party and government, and consolidate the great national unity bloc.
In the 2025-2030 period, the Association focuses on raising political awareness and the ability to apply science and technology to members, helping farmers increase their income, improve their lives, and build happy and civilized farming families. Strive for 100% of Association branches to be quite strong; admit at least 2% of new members each year; 100% of Association staff are trained and trained in digital skills and skills.
By 2030, over 60% of member households will register for the title of good farmers in production and business, at least 50% will reach the commune level or higher; each year, build 1-2 "Skilled Mass Mobilization" models and help at least 2 households escape poverty sustainably.
Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Dang Quang Anh - Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Lac Phuong commune affirmed: " Entering the 2025-2030 term, the Association will continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, innovate the content and methods of operation, accompany members in building ecological agriculture, modern countryside, and civilized farmers, contributing to the successful implementation of local development goals".
