The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Phu Tho province is promoting digital transformation, gradually innovating operating methods, improving the efficiency of administration, supervision, social criticism and connecting with the people.
After Phu Tho province implemented the 2-level local government model, the management scope of the Fatherland Front system was expanded, posing higher requirements in coordination between levels, grasping the situation and summarizing opinions from the grassroots level. In that context, digital transformation is identified as a key task.
According to Mr. Luong Ngoc Thach, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Tho province, digital transformation only promotes efficiency when associated with innovating thinking and working methods of the contingent of officials. Each official needs to proactively access technology, effectively exploit digital platforms to improve the quality of advice, coordination and service to the people.
The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province has issued many directing documents, consolidating the Steering Committee for science, technology, innovation and digital transformation and specialized working groups. The content of digital transformation is included in the work program, emulation movement and is associated with the responsibilities of each agency, unit, and head.
The operational information system of the Vietnam Fatherland Front is connected from the provincial level to 148 communes and wards and interconnected with the national document interconnection axis. To date, 100% of cadres, civil servants, and public employees of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Tho province and 148 Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at commune level use the system to send, receive, process, and submit for signing electronic documents.
Notably, the "Digital Front" platform creates an additional channel for people to send opinions and recommendations directly to the VFF system. In the first 6 months of 2026, the platform received and processed 135 opinions and recommendations from the people. Reflections were received, classified, transferred to competent authorities and monitored the progress of processing on the electronic environment.

Along with that, digital databases, community digital libraries, electronic reporting systems and AI virtual assistant applications support officials in exploiting information, summarizing reports, monitoring emulation movements, campaigns as well as supervision and social criticism.
Digital transformation is also being implemented at member socio-political organizations. The Provincial Women's Union has deployed the innovation and digital transformation movement to 100% of grassroots Unions; updated 475,805/500,696 members, reaching over 95% of the plan. The models "Digital Women", "Digital Women's Branch", "Digital Women's Group" are being replicated; members are supported with livestream sales, using QR codes to trace origins and bringing products to e-commerce platforms.
The Provincial Youth Union, Farmers' Association, Veterans Association and other member organizations also promoted data digitization, innovated propaganda methods, management and organization of activities.
Initial results show that digital transformation is contributing to innovating the operating methods of the Phu Tho Provincial Fatherland Front, improving the efficiency of coordination between levels, strengthening connections with the People and promoting the role of a bridge between the Party, government and people.
