On June 7, Lao Cai Provincial Police said that Nam Cuong Ward Police and Gia Phu Commune Police had just coordinated with mass organizations in the area to launch self-management models, contributing to improving the effectiveness of ensuring security and order at the grassroots level.

On June 5, 2026, in Nam Cuong ward, the Ward Police in coordination with the Women's Union launched the "Digital Women's Branch" model in Yen Minh and Cau Den residential groups, attracting about 160 members to participate.
The model aims to improve digital skills for members, and at the same time propagate and guide people to use cyberspace safely and prevent high-tech fraud.
On the same day, Gia Phu Commune Police coordinated with the Commune Farmers' Association to launch the model "Maintaining a Farmers' Association without drugs" in Nam Tra and Nam Phang villages, with the participation of 50 farmer members.

Nam Tra and Nam Phang are two villages where 100% of households are Dao ethnic people. This is also an area with many difficulties in terms of socio-economic conditions, transportation and people's lives.
Faced with potential factors affecting the security and order situation, Gia Phu Commune Police proactively grasped the area, advised the Party Committee and local authorities to deploy preventive measures early and remotely; and at the same time mobilized the participation of the entire political system in drug prevention and control.
At the program, people were propagated about the provisions of law on drug prevention and control, identified methods and tricks of drug criminals, and signed commitments to build safe residential areas.
According to Lao Cai Provincial Police, the launch of models continues to promote the role of grassroots police forces in building the "All people protect national security" movement, contributing to maintaining security and order in the area.
