On April 11, Vinh Long Provincial Department of Health coordinated with units to organize a series of health care activities on the occasion of the Chol Chnam Thmay Tet, targeting Khmer people, policy families, people in difficult circumstances, students and children in the area.
Accordingly, the program has examined and treated more than 2,500 people in Binh Phu, Nhi Truong, Don Chau, Ham Giang, Cau Ke and Tra Con communes. At the same time, organized oral examinations and dental records for 500 students at Nguyen Truong To Secondary School; free congenital heart disease screening for 1,000 children under 16 years old at Tran Hoang Vu Primary School and Le Hoang Chieu Secondary School.

In addition, many meaningful gifts and scholarships were handed directly to Khmer people and poor students, contributing to sharing difficulties during traditional holidays. The health sector also guided people to integrate "Electronic Health Records" and install the application "Doctor for Every Home", promoting digital transformation in community health care.
In addition to serving people, the Department of Health also organized in-depth training on reproductive health care for 200 grassroots health workers throughout the province at Nguyen Dinh Chieu Hospital, contributing to improving professional capacity.
The series of activities is accompanied by many hospitals, universities and a team of experts inside and outside the province, showing joint efforts for community health, especially for Khmer people in difficult areas.
