Ha Tinh - On August 19, the Provincial Border Guard Command coordinated with the People's Committee of Phuc Trach commune and the Chut ethnic people to organize the 2026 Hole Filling Tet program.

Hole Filling Tet is held on July 7th of the lunar calendar every year, meaning "planting holes, sowing seeds", marking the completion of sowing and planting on the fields.

This is an opportunity for the Chut people to celebrate the traditional Tet holiday, thank heaven and earth, pray for favorable weather, abundant harvests, everyone healthy, and a peaceful, prosperous and happy life.

This year's program includes the ceremony part and the festival part. In which, the ceremony part includes rituals of erecting the Neu tree, the pillar, inviting offerings and worshiping according to traditional customs. The festival part takes place with many cultural and artistic activities, folk games and sports exchanges.

In the atmosphere of the festival, villagers participate in cultural and sports activities, creating a joyful atmosphere, connecting the community. Lap Lo Tet is also an opportunity for the Chut people to preserve and pass down good customs, habits and traditional rituals.

According to the Organizing Committee, maintaining the "Lấp lỗ" Tet contributes to raising awareness and responsibility of the community in preserving and promoting the unique cultural values of the Chut ethnic group. Thereby, gradually building "Lấp lỗ" Tet into a unique cultural tourism product, contributing to promoting socio-economic development in Rao Tre village.
