On the afternoon of January 26, Regiment 726 (Army Corps 16) coordinated with the People's Committee of Quang Truc commune, Tuy Duc district (Dak Nong) to organize a gift giving program "Tet sum vay - Xuan ung deo deo deo" with the theme "Warm affection between army and people - Spring At Ty 2025".
In a warm atmosphere, representatives of Army Corps 16 and Regiment 726 presented more than 500 gifts including gifts and cash to policy families and poor households in the area.
Gifts were also given to union members with serious illnesses, female union members and union members in difficult circumstances.
In addition, 94 gifts of pork, sticky rice and green beans were given to ethnic minorities in the Bu P'Rang 1 commune, Quang Truc commune.

Also within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee organized cultural exchange activities, art performances, gong performances, banh chung wrapping and bonfires to strengthen the solidarity between the army and the people. The total budget for these activities was over 500 million VND.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Vu Van Dinh - Deputy Chief of Politics, Army Corps 16 - said, "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of Thanks to the Party" in 2025 is a practical activity.
This activity is part of a series of activities to care for and ensure Tet for cadres, employees, workers, families with preferential policies, and families in difficult circumstances in the project area on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.
The program aims to promote and educate cadres, employees and workers about the traditional Tet holiday of the nation. Thereby, it arouses the spirit of mutual love and sharing difficulties with poor people in the stationed area.

The program not only brings a complete Tet to the people but also demonstrates the solidarity between the army and the people. This is a testament to the close bond between the People's Army and the people of all ethnic groups. From there, it contributes to strengthening the relationship of solidarity and unity in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
On this occasion, the units also awarded 20 scholarships worth 40 million VND to students of Sao Mai Kindergarten with difficult circumstances.
The funding source was called for by the Dak Nong Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and the Dak Nong Provincial Women's Union to establish a Scholarship Fund.
