A delegation of the Military Command of Kien Giang province led by Colonel Cao Minh Tam - Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command - organized the handover of 3 comrade houses in Phu Loi commune, Giang Thanh district. This is a meaningful activity in the series of activities for the Military-Civilian Tet 2025.
The delegation came to hand over the house to Mr. Tran Van Huong, in Ta Teng hamlet, Phu Loi commune, Giang Thanh district. Mr. Huong is a retired soldier, formerly a soldier of Kien Hai infantry company, Kien Hai district Military Command, currently facing difficulties with housing.
The house was solidly built on the family's land with an area of over 90 square meters, with a corrugated iron roof and tiled floor. The house is worth over 150 million VND. Of which, the provincial Military Command's team house construction fund supported 50 million VND, the remaining amount was contributed by the family.
Previously, the Provincial Military Command also organized the handover of houses to Mr. Thi Trung Hau, former soldier of Phu My Border Guard Group and Mr. Phan Minh Lanh, former soldier of Battalion 207, Regiment 893, Kien Giang Provincial Military Command, who are currently facing housing difficulties in Phu Loi commune.
The support for the construction and organization of the handover of comrades' houses during the Military-Civilian Tet holiday has contributed, together with the local Party Committee and government, to taking care of the lives of military officers and soldiers currently working at agencies and units in the entire armed forces of the province; officers and soldiers of all periods who have retired, demobilized, and discharged from the army and have difficult housing circumstances. The house has contributed to helping officers and soldiers feel secure in their work, ready to receive and complete all assigned tasks well.
