Each gift in the Humanitarian Month is not only given away in material way, but also promptly supported the lives that have struggled to make a living, gradually overcoming adversity.
Tran Minh Gia Bao - an 8th grade student in Trung Chanh commune, Vung Liem district - is the son of a poor working-class family, with parents working seasonally for hire and unstable income. Bao said that every day he still persists in going to class with old sandals and a pair of tight-fitting straps.
"When I received the 1 million VND scholarship, I was very happy because my parents reduced the cost of buying my schoolwork and books for the new school year. I will try to study well so as not to let down the benefactors and soldiers", Bao added.
In Binh Minh town, the life of Mr. Thach Hong, a freelancer, has turned a new page. Previously, he lived in a makeshift hut covered with corrugated iron, walls made of leaves, leaking every rainy season, and the hot to suffocating season.
Mr. Hong said that his family has a small child, and those difficulties are piling up, making him always worry about a safe place for his children.
"Before, I just wanted to have a healthy place to live, now that I have one, I am very assured! I promise to try to do business, not disappoint the benefactors who have helped," Mr. Hong added.

In Quoi Thien commune, Vung Liem district, Ms. Le Thi Dot is excited when the 800m long concrete weaving road was built to overcome the riverbank landslide and has just been completed and put into use.
"Now that children are no longer worried about falling off the road due to landslides, going to the market and selling fruit is much more convenient," Ms. Doat added.
The power of spreading from small but humane actions

"The new road helps people's travel conditions to be more convenient, contributing to the economic development of the locality. The government and people are extremely touched by the cooperation and contribution of humanitarian organizations and the community, Mr. Vu added.
Talking to Lao Dong, Ms. Nguyen Thuy Yen Phuong - President of the Vinh Long Provincial Red Cross Society said that this year's Humanitarian Month, the association estimated to mobilize resources from all levels of the association and mobilize in the social community to reach about 10 billion VND.

According to Ms. Phuong, during the Humanitarian Month, the Association awarded 340 scholarships, started construction of 31 charity houses, inaugurated the anti-landslide knitting route and presented thousands of gifts to poor households. Propagate the spirit of humanity in the community.
