The Buddha's Birthday Great Celebration will be held at 6 am on April 14, Binh Ngo (ie May 30, 2026).
The highlight of this year's Buddha's Birthday season is the ritual of launching and lighting seven pink lotus flowers on the Nhieu Loc canal, in front of Quan Am monastery, contributing to creating a joyful and respectful atmosphere to celebrate the Buddha's Birthday. The lighting ceremony of seven pink lotus flowers takes place at 6 pm on the 8th day of the 4th lunar month of Binh Ngo.
In addition, roads in the area will also be hung with flags, banners and slogans to celebrate Buddha's Birthday according to local regulations.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee also implemented a program to give charity gifts to difficult households in the area.
Regarding the An cu kiet ha ceremony, venerable monks and nuns agreed to continue to organize according to the Buddha's Law and the previous tradition of Buddhist activities of Phu Nhuan district (formerly). Two concentrated accommodation points are Pho Quang ancestral temple and Dai Giac pagoda; on-site accommodation points include Giac Uyen pagoda, Quan The Am ancestral temple, Van Hanh Zen monastery, Kim Son ancestral temple, Quan Am monastery, Giac Tam and Thien Long pagodas.
