On May 4, at the Headquarters of the Board of Trustees - Tinh Hoi Pagoda (Tran Bien ward), the Standing Committee of the Buddhist Board of Trustees of Dong Nai City held an important meeting to comprehensively assess Buddhist affairs work in the past time, and at the same time propose strategic orientations in the coming period, especially the preparation for the Great Vesak PL. 2570.
At the meeting, the Secretariat presented a summary report on the outstanding results of Buddhist affairs in the past time. Under the direction of the Chief Venerable, the Venerable Monks focused on discussing and contributing many heartfelt opinions, reaching a consensus on key contents, creating a solid foundation for the effective operation of the apparatus in the new term.

Notably, the meeting agreed on many important long-term orientations such as: proposing a list of high-level State awards on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the founding of the Church; consolidating the personnel of the interim Executive Boards of Professional Boards (7 members per Board); and at the same time, promoting the establishment of Representative Boards in 12 areas in the city to improve operational efficiency and connect grassroots Buddhist affairs.
Regarding the upcoming key activities, the Standing Committee unanimously agreed on the plan to organize the Great Vesak PL. 2570 at Tinh Hoi Pagoda (Binh Phuoc ward) on April 13th of the Binh Ngo year (lunar calendar), with the orientation of organizing solemnly, on a large scale, spreading the message of compassion - wisdom to the community.

In addition, the "An cu kiet ha" plan is also being implemented with 22 "an cu" points throughout the city, contributing to promoting the monks and nuns' monastic life into depth and solemnity of the Sangha. The meeting also agreed on the time to organize the Dai Gioi Dan with the title "Minh Chanh", expected to take place from December 1 to 5, 2026 (December 23-27. 10th Binh Ngo year).
Speaking to summarize, Venerable Thich Hue Khai - Standing Member of the Board of Trustees, Head of the Buddhist Sangha of Dong Nai City, acknowledged and praised the spirit of responsibility and solidarity of the Venerable Monks in Buddhist affairs, and emphasized that consensus is the key factor for the Board of Trustees to operate stably and effectively, thereby continuing to affirm the role and position of Buddhism in Dong Nai City in society.
