According to the plan, DNA samples of relatives of unidentified martyrs will be collected, analyzed and updated into the DNA database to serve management, search, comparison, and identification of martyrs.
Sampling is carried out in order of priority for relatives who have close blood relations with martyrs, ensuring compliance with professional procedures and legal regulations.
To date, functional forces have collected 184 DNA samples of relatives of 196 martyrs in accordance with technical procedures, ensuring tightness, accuracy, safety and information security.
The DNA sample collection activity is a work of profound political and humanistic significance, expressing the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source", the gratitude of the Party and State to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
