On the afternoon of May 22, Ho Chi Minh City organized a meeting of the Muslim community on the occasion of the Great Festival Raya Idil Adha 1447 - Solar 2026.

On the afternoon of May 22, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Ho Chi Minh City held a meeting to congratulate the Representative Board of the City's Muslim Community, the Mosque, the Small Mosque and areas with a large number of Muslim believers living in Ho Chi Minh City, on the occasion of the Great Festival Raya Idil Adha in the 1447 lunar calendar - 2026 solar calendar.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Pham Minh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City respectfully acknowledged and thanked the contributions of the Muslim community in Ho Chi Minh City in joining hands and uniting with all classes of people across the country to create positive results in the cause of building and developing the country.

Along with the general development of the city, with the concern and care of the Party, government, Front at all levels, and the efforts of the entire city's Muslim community, the material and spiritual life of Muslim compatriots, especially for families facing many life difficulties, has had many positive changes, with more and more successful people in all fields, contributing to the city's common achievements.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City will continue to coordinate with agencies and units to pay attention to supporting and creating favorable conditions for the Representative Board of the Islamic Community of the city, the Management Board of the Mosque, Small Mosque and areas with a large number of Muslim believers to focus on organizing good religious and belief activities according to the Law on Belief and Religion.

Mr. Pham Minh Tuan expressed his wish and belief that the Representative Board of the Muslim Community, the Management Board of the Mosque, and the Small Mosque in Ho Chi Minh City will continue to unite, together with the Vietnam Fatherland Front system at all levels to propagate and mobilize Muslim believers to strive to rise up in life; actively respond to movements and campaigns launched by the government and the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels.

At the same time, Muslim compatriots in Ho Chi Minh City continue to preserve and promote the quintessence of their national culture and religion to contribute to preserving and developing an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national cultural identity; contributing to building Ho Chi Minh City with a good quality of life, civilization, modernity, and affection.

Mr. Mohamed Zakir - Husain - Standing Deputy Head of the Representative Board of the Ho Chi Minh City Muslim Community shared that the Ho Chi Minh City Muslim community always appreciates the concern and support of the Party and State leaders, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and city authorities at all levels for creating favorable conditions for Muslims to practice their beliefs, repair mosques, organize important holidays and fulfill their religious obligations in accordance with the law.
