Today's photo exhibition aims to introduce 153 typical art photo works, selected from photo contests and exhibitions "Fatherland by the waves" and "Proud of a border strip" chaired by the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission in the period 2020 - 2025.
The works vividly depict the majestic beauty of Vietnam's mountains and rivers from mountainous areas, borders to the sacred sea and islands of the Fatherland; clearly reflecting the life, labor, and struggle of ethnic minorities, cadres, soldiers and people across the country.

In particular, the exhibition dedicates a solemn space to vividly recreate the heroic struggle of the army and people of the South in the resistance war against the US for national salvation. This is a journey full of sacrifices, hardships but extremely glorious for the entire Vietnamese nation.
The exhibition also highlights the outstanding and comprehensive achievements of Ho Chi Minh City after more than half a century of construction and development.
From a city suffering many losses after the war, Ho Chi Minh City has risen strongly, promoting dynamic, creative, breakthrough traditions, daring to think, daring to do, pioneering in innovation, gradually removing difficulties, proactively adapting to the new situation, proposing many solutions to liberate labor, promote production, stabilize and improve the quality of people's lives.

Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee emphasized that this exhibition is also an opportunity to promote the image of a peaceful, stable, developing, friendly and culturally rich Vietnam in general and Ho Chi Minh City in particular to international friends.
Visiting the photo exhibition, Ms. Phan Thi Vinh Tien (Cau Ong Lanh ward) emotionally shared that the photo exhibition is compiled from many aspects, many different tasks to create a beautiful overall picture of the country's mountains and rivers. From the smallest details to the overall picture today, the exhibition space is arranged very harmoniously, airy, bringing to city residents a wide open view.
That makes me feel very much love for Vietnam in general and Ho Chi Minh City in particular, love for the images and also the work shown in that picture" - Ms. Tien shared.

Photo exhibition "Vietnam - A strip of mountains and rivers" and "Ho Chi Minh City echoes triumphantly" lasts until the end of May 12.
