On November 18, on the occasion of the 43rd Anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, Dong Thap University solemnly held a ceremony to receive 5 important events: Receiving the Certificate of Quality Assessment of 06 training programs and UPM 5 certification for 2 training programs; congratulating the new Professor, Associate Professor in 2025 and the inauguration of Gate A of Dong Thap University and 1 collective and 1 individual awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Ministry of Education and Training.
The People's Teacher attended. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Duc - former Deputy Director of Hanoi National University, Member of the State Council of Professors, Chairman of the Council of Professors of Physics; Associate Professor, Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien - Director of the Center for Education Quality Assessment - Hanoi National University with leaders and former leaders of Dong Thap province, Dong Thap University.
At the ceremony, the school was honored to receive the Certificate of Quality Assessment for 6 training programs, including: University of Social Work Program; Chinese University of Language; University of Land Management; Master of Education; Master of Vietnamese History and Master of Vietnamese Language.
Also at the ceremony, Dong Thap University received the Certificate of 5-star training program oriented to apply UPM for 2 programs: Physics Pedagogy; Biology Pedagogy. And in the joy of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, Dong Thap University is also honored to have the first teacher qualified as a Professor, Associate Professor, Dr. Huynh Vinh Phuc - Vice Principal of the School of Education, and an additional Associate Professor, Dr. Le Diem Kieu - Head of the higher education program in Environmental Sciences.
On this occasion, the school also solemnly received a Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training to Associate Professor, Dr. Ho Van Thong - Principal of Dong Thap University and the Faculty of Mathematics Pedagogy - Tinh under the Pedagogical School for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Innovation, creativity in management, teaching and learning".
On this occasion, Dong Thap University also successfully inaugurated Gate A - a project that bears the mark of a journey of more than 20 years of development and integration, a symbol and aspiration of the University.
In the joyful atmosphere at the school's outstanding achievements, Associate Professor, Dr. Ho Van Thong - Principal of Dong Thap University - highly appreciated and expressed the efforts of the team of teachers, civil servants, and staff of the school.
In particular, the Principal expressed his gratitude to the silent workforce: Behind the development of the school, there is the silent sacrifice of many colleagues. These are administrative staff, security guards, drivers, doctors, dormitories; staff caring for trees, electricity, water, environmental sanitation... Every day, they silently maintain discipline, facilities, and learning environment; to help teachers feel secure in teaching, so that students can study with peace of mind.
