In the 2025 - 2026 school year, the school has 20 classes with 558 students, of which 331 are boarding students. Most students are ethnic minorities such as Mong and Mang - one of the very small ethnic groups with a population of less than 10,000 people. The school not only teaches literacy but also cares about life, becoming the "second home" for students.

Right from the beginning of the school year, the school board has organized input quality surveys, classified students to build a "personalization" roadmap. This helps tutor weak students, nurture good students, and ensures that no students are left behind.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Minh, the school principal, innovating teaching and learning methods is a key task. The school focuses on fostering teachers in the direction of promoting students' abilities, strengthening the application of information technology and organizing experiential activities.

Classrooms are currently equipped with interactive screens and 65-inch TVs. Teachers are proficient in electronic lesson plans, performing at least 2 PowerPoint lessons per week. Thanks to that, knowledge is transmitted through images, sounds and games, helping students to absorb more easily.

Ms. Lu Thi Chien said that incorporating games and images into the lecture helps students be interested and remember for a long time. Lu Ha Thanh, a 4A1 student, shared that she "likes the class with a projector the most because the lecture is lively and easy to understand.

The results of the 2024 - 2025 school year show clear effectiveness. At the primary level, 100% of students completed the program, 17.6% completed excellently. At the secondary level, 100% of students achieved good and good training; good and good academic performance reached 38.3%. Provincial-level excellent student teams in Mathematics, Vietnamese, IOE, Violympic won many awards.

The attendance rate is always above 99%, reflecting the school's attractiveness. Students come to class not only for obligation but also for learning interest.

In the coming period, the school aims to maintain the number of students, improve the quality of specialized education and strive to be re-recognized as a national standard school at level 1. The focus is on developing the teaching staff, utilizing modern teaching equipment and strengthening tutoring for 9th grade students in Math, Literature, and English subjects.

The innovation at Trung Chai Ethnic Minority Boarding Primary and Secondary School shows efforts to change educational thinking. From the border highlands of Pa Tan, technology application classes are contributing to raising students, opening up sustainable development opportunities for the locality.
