On May 13, information from the People's Committee of Na Ngoi commune said that the Center for Culture and Sports of Youth and Children has just coordinated with the Na Ngoi Commune Youth Union to organize a training program "Counseling on legal knowledge on early marriage, consanguineous marriage, creating livelihoods for union members and young people of ethnic minorities in mountainous communes" in 2026.
The program was held at the Hall of Na Ngoi Commune People's Committee, with the participation of more than 200 union members and young people from ethnic minorities in the area.
Attending the program were Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hoang - Deputy Director of the Center for Culture and Sports of Youth and Children; Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Na Ngoi commune; Mr. Nguyen Cong Danh - Secretary of the Party Cell, Principal of Na Ngoi Ethnic Minority Boarding School and representatives of local departments and agencies.
At the program, union members and youth were disseminated by experts with basic knowledge about the Law on Marriage and Family; and at the same time propagated about the harmful effects of early marriage and consanguineous marriage on health, population quality and socio-economic development.
In addition, the program also helps union members and youth better understand the provisions of law related to handling violations of early marriage and consanguineous marriage.
Through propaganda activities, the organizing committee wishes to raise awareness and responsibility of union members and young people of ethnic minorities in complying with the law, building progressive families, contributing to pushing back the backward customs that still exist in mountainous areas.
On this occasion, the organizing committee presented 10 gifts to union members and youth who have made many positive contributions to Youth Union work and youth and children's movements. The activity aims to recognize and commend the pioneering spirit and responsibility of youth in the locality.
