From April 20 to 25, the Command of Naval Region 5 coordinated with the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Provincial Party Committee, and the An Giang Provincial Women's Union to organize sea and island propaganda, attracting human resources in the province.
More than 3,000 cadres, party members, women's union members, union members, youth, students and high school students were informed by the reporter of Naval Region 5 about the position, role, and importance of Vietnam's sea and islands for the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland. The situation in our country's sea areas today; the views, policies, and solutions of the Party and State in the struggle to protect sea and island sovereignty.

Along with that, delegates were also introduced to typical feats of arms of the Vietnam People's Navy; the journey of building, fighting and maturing of Naval Region 5; as well as policies to attract high-quality human resources to build a modern Navy.
Propaganda activities also emphasize the role and responsibility of An Giang women in building their homeland and country; and at the same time call on women's union members to actively participate in activities towards the sea and islands with practical and meaningful actions.

Within the framework of the program, the speaker also provided information about the learning and training environment in the Army; standards and procedures for registering for admission to the Naval Academy and Naval Technical College in 2026. Thereby helping students have more official information sources to orient their careers, and at the same time arouse the spirit of responsibility and the aspiration to contribute of young people to the cause of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
During the propaganda process, along with the form of direct communication, the unit also combined the distribution of leaflets, projection of images and documentary videos about training activities, combat readiness, patrols, protection of sea and island sovereignty and support and assistance to fishermen of the Navy force. The visual and vivid approach contributes to improving propaganda effectiveness, helping listeners easily understand and absorb the content.
