On August 1, the delegation of the People's Committee of Vinh Long province led by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Be Muoi visited and congratulated the Provincial Board of Directors of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Provincial Committee for Vietnamese Catholic Solidarity, expressing their concern after the province implemented the two-level government model.
At each destination, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee quickly informed about the socio-economic development situation, security and order after 1 month of implementing the two-level government after the merger, and affirmed the spirit of solidarity and cohesion between the government and religious organizations in building the province to develop more and more.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Be Muoi sent her congratulations to Venerable Thach Sok Xane, the Venerable of the Provincial Board of Directors of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Priest Luu Van Minh and all Catholics, wishing the organizations to continue to promote their role in the great national unity bloc.
On behalf of religious organizations, Venerable Thach Sok Xane expressed his deep gratitude for the attention of the provincial leaders to Buddhist activities in particular and religious work in general.
"Celebrating the initial results after the merger and the threshold of gratitude of the three pillars for the protection of the provincial leaders to stay healthy, the province to develop more and more, the people to settle down and work, the religions accompany in the great solidarity bloc, contributing to building the homeland of Vinh Long rich and civilized", Hoa Thuong added.
Priest Luu Van Minh - representative of the Provincial Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee - respectfully thanked the provincial leaders for their attention and facilitation for religious activities, especially during the transition period of the government model after the merger.
"Currently, the whole province of Vinh Long has more than 200,000 parishioners, more than 200 churches and shrines. Catholics have always actively responded to patriotic emulation movements, lived "a good life", accompany local authorities in socio-economic development and social security care", Minister Minh added.
