Hung Yen - Hung Khanh Pagoda was started construction at a new location to serve the expansion of the Memorial House of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan.

On June 29, in Van Noi village, Viet Tien commune (Hung Yen province), the locality held a groundbreaking ceremony to build Van Noi Pagoda (Hung Khanh Pagoda) at a new location. This is an important project to serve the expansion of the campus of the Memorial House of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan - President Ho Chi Minh's mother, and at the same time meet the religious needs of the people.

According to the People's Committee of Viet Tien commune, Hung Khanh Pagoda is a place to worship Buddha, serves the spiritual activities of nuns and Buddhists and is a space for cultural and spiritual activities of local people.

However, the existing pagoda has a small area, built through many stages, so it lacks synchronicity, not meeting the requirements of fully arranging the items of a traditional pagoda as well as the increasing demand for learning and religious activities.

Notably, the pagoda is currently located in the expanded planning area of the Hoang Thi Loan Memorial House, so it is no longer suitable for the province's land use plan, affecting the overall architecture and landscape of the relic site.

Therefore, the relocation of the pagoda to Ma Tung area, Van Noi village is identified as necessary, both creating conditions to expand and upgrade the memorial area, and forming a more spacious cultural and religious living space for the people.

The new pagoda is planned on an area of about 4,000 m2, bearing the traditional architecture of Vietnamese village communal houses and pagodas, harmonizing with the landscape and national cultural identity. The project will be implemented in three phases with items such as Tam Bao, ancestral house, Mother house, guest house, kitchen, campus and parking lot.

When completed, Hung Khanh Pagoda and the Memorial House of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan will form a cultural and spiritual complex, contributing to preserving traditional values, historical education, and improving the spiritual life of the people and serving the increasingly better needs of tourists to visit and worship.
