Hung Yen - People in Van Noi village, Viet Tien commune highly agree with the policy of relocating Van Noi Pagoda, associated with expanding the Memorial House of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan.

In Viet Tien commune, a people's conference was just held to inform and present the planning plan for the Van Noi Pagoda construction project at a new location. This is an important project, not only meeting the religious needs of the people but also contributing to expanding the space of the Memorial House of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan - Mother of President Ho Chi Minh, creating motivation for local socio-economic and cultural development.

A large number of people in Van Noi village (Viet Tien commune, Hung Yen province) contributed many responsible and enthusiastic opinions. Most opinions expressed their agreement and high support for the policy of relocating the pagoda to a new location. People realize that this is an opportunity to better exploit the historical, cultural, and spiritual values associated with President Ho Chi Minh's mother, while opening up new development directions for the locality.

In addition, some households with land within the project scope raised opinions on land rights and the implementation process. Mr. Nguyen Duc Doan - Chairman of Viet Tien Commune People's Committee - answered each specific content, clarified the legal basis and implementation plan, ensuring the legitimate rights of people according to regulations.

Chairman of Viet Tien Commune People's Committee emphasized that the relocation of Van Noi Pagoda, combined with expanding the campus of the Hoang Thi Loan Memorial House, is an important opportunity to form a connecting cultural and spiritual space, creating motivation to promote tourism and local economic development.

According to the commune leaders, all legitimate rights of the people will be considered publicly, transparently, and in accordance with legal regulations. The project has also received attention and guidance from competent authorities, reflecting the long-term development vision of the locality.

Regarding the policy, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hung Yen province has issued a document agreeing on the relocation and new construction of Van Noi communal house and Hung Khanh pagoda at the planned location, in order to serve the expansion of the relic campus. The specialized agency requested the locality to properly implement the provisions of the Law on Belief and Religion, the Law on Construction and the Law on Cultural Heritage.

In parallel, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Hung Yen province also expressed support for the policy of relocating Hung Khanh Pagoda. After a field survey, the Sangha believes that the relocation of the pagoda from a cramped location to a new spacious and convenient land area is suitable for the living needs of monks, nuns, Buddhists and people.
