Tuyen Quang - Picking up someone else's lost property, Mr. Vu Manh Linh proactively reported to the police to find the person to return it.

On September 3, Tuyen Quang Provincial Police said that Dong Tho Commune Police had just coordinated to verify and return lost property to people.

Previously, on September 1, Ms. Tran Thi Toan (born in 1969, residing in Y Nhan village, Dong Tho commune) came to the Commune Police to report the loss of property.

According to Ms. Toan, on August 31, while moving, she unfortunately dropped an OPPO touch phone. In the phone case, there was an amount of 830,000 VND. The total value of the property she reported was about 2.83 million VND.

Also on August 31, Mr. Vu Manh Linh (born in 1996, residing in Sai Linh village, Dong Tho commune) on his way home from work picked up these assets.

Instead of keeping it or trying to use it, Mr. Linh proactively brought the property to Dong Tho Commune Police to report. He also coordinated with the police force to verify, find the person who dropped it and return the property.

After receiving information, Dong Tho Commune Police proceeded to verify and carry out the necessary procedures to find the owner of the property. As a result, the property was identified as belonging to Ms. Tran Thi Toan.

Dong Tho Commune Police then returned the phone intact along with 830,000 VND to Ms. Toan. Receiving the property back, Ms. Toan was moved and thanked Mr. Vu Manh Linh and commune police officers and soldiers for their support in searching for and returning the property.

Mr. Linh's action is a beautiful act, showing honesty and a sense of responsibility to the community.

A phone or an amount of money may not be too much of an asset, but proactively finding a way to return it to the person who lost it is of great value.

Kind deeds, even simple ones, when spread, will contribute to building a civilized and meaningful community image, while fostering the bond and trust between people and the grassroots police force.
