In Ben Cu hamlet, Ninh Dien Commune Police (Tay Ninh) advised the Commune People's Committee to organize the Launching Ceremony of the model "Khmer people of Ninh Dien commune participate in maintaining security and order".
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Tran The Hiep, Vice Chairman of the Commune People's Committee; Mr. Giap Binh Minh, Standing Vice Chairman of the Commune Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Commune Farmers' Association; representatives of the Command of Phuoc Tan Border Gate Border Guard Station, Ninh Dien Station, Commune Military Command, prestigious people and a large number of Khmer people in the area.
The model is built to promote the spirit of solidarity and responsibility of Khmer people in the all-people movement to protect national security; raise awareness of law compliance, vigilance, and proactively prevent crime and social evils.
Through the model, Khmer people are mobilized to participate in detecting, providing information, denouncing crimes and law violations; mediating conflicts arising in the community, contributing to limiting complex cases of security and order right from the grassroots level.
The model also contributes to raising people's awareness of conspiracies, methods, and tricks to take advantage of ethnic and religious issues to incite and divide the great national unity bloc.
Another important goal is to build a coordinated relationship between the commune police, armed forces, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, departments, branches and reputable people among the Khmer people. Through this, promote dissemination and legal education, information about methods and tricks of criminal activities and bring the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State to the people.
At the ceremony, the Steering Committee of the model announced the decision to establish, operating regulations, list of members of the Steering Committee, working group and assignment of tasks.
Speaking to direct, Mr. Tran The Hiep affirmed that the establishment of the model demonstrates the determination to bring the movement "All people protect national security" into depth, substance and effectiveness.
The Vice Chairman of Ninh Dien Commune People's Committee requested the Steering Committee, assisting groups and reputable people to promote their roles, actively propagate and mobilize people to comply with the law; proactively prevent, detect, and denounce crimes, participate in mediation and maintain security and order in residential areas.
On this occasion, the Steering Committee of the model presented 40 gifts to Khmer households in difficult circumstances. In the coming time, Ninh Dien Commune Police will continue to coordinate with forces to maintain the operation of the model, towards practical effectiveness.
