On May 12, Lao Cai Provincial Police said that in the past time, the Police of units and localities in the area have implemented many practical activities towards grassroots levels, supporting people and caring for difficult circumstances.
On the morning of May 11, Nghia Do Commune Police organized support for facilities and legal propaganda in Tong Kim village - where 100% of Mong people live.
The Commune Police force mobilized funds to install curtains to decorate the hall for the Village Cultural House worth 9 million VND; and at the same time propagate laws on security and order, crime prevention, fire prevention and fighting, and traffic safety to local people.
On the same day, Gia Hoi Commune Police coordinated with Gia Hoi Elementary School to organize the program "Free haircut and gift giving to students in difficult circumstances".
At the program, 30 gifts with a total value of about 3 million VND were given to poor students; nearly 100 students were given free haircuts with the companionship of hair salons and philanthropists in the area.
Previously, the Professional Technical and Out-of-line Department of Lao Cai Provincial Police presented gifts to support 4 students from 2 families in particularly difficult circumstances in Ban Xeo commune. The total value of the gifts is 5 million VND.
In addition, the Khanh Yen Commune Police Youth Union also mobilized forces to support Mr. Trieu Van Bao's family in Phu Mau village to overcome the consequences of rainstorms damaging houses; and at the same time presented the family with a gift worth 1 million VND.
The practical and humane activities of the Police force have contributed to spreading the beautiful image of People's Police soldiers who are close to the people, dedicated and responsible for the peaceful life of the people.
