In recent days, prolonged heavy rain has caused many roads in Trinh Tuong commune, Lao Cai province to be deeply flooded, with strong currents, causing difficulties for people's travel.
In the spillway area of Na Lac village, the water has risen, posing a potential risk of unsafety for people and vehicles, especially students and the elderly.

On May 11, Trinh Tuong Commune Police said that in the face of complicated weather developments, the Commune Police force coordinated with local people to support people to pass through the deeply flooded area.
In which, Mr. Tran Van Manh - a temporary resident of Phoi Moi 1 village - proactively used a personal pickup truck to pick up and drop off students, the elderly and people through the dangerous large water section.
Although moving in strong currents poses many risks, Mr. Manh still actively coordinates with functional forces to support people to travel safely.

In the spillway area, the commune police force is regularly on duty, guiding people to move, and at the same time supporting vehicles and people to cross the deep water area to limit the risk of accidents during the rainy and flood season.
The image of the police force and people supporting each other amidst the large water flow has contributed to spreading the spirit of solidarity and sharing for the community in a time of complicated weather developments.

Faced with the situation of rain and floods still posing many dangers, functional forces recommend that people proactively monitor weather information, do not arbitrarily pass through deep flooded areas, fast-flowing water when not safe. For students, young children and the elderly, there needs to be support when moving.
People are also requested to comply with the instructions of functional forces at dangerous points, and promptly notify local authorities when detecting incidents during rain and floods.
