On June 17, Cat Thinh Commune Police (Lao Cai province) said that the unit had just coordinated to return property to people who dropped it, thereby recording a beautiful action, contributing to spreading the spirit of honesty and responsibility in the community.
Previously, at about 8 am on June 15, Mr. Luong Phuc Loc (born 2004, residing in Da Gan village, Cat Thinh commune) when passing through the area near the foot of Ach Pass in Hung Thinh village discovered a notebook with 8 million VND in cash.
Realizing that this was valuable property that someone else had dropped, Mr. Loc did not keep it but proactively brought all the property to Cat Thinh Commune Police to report and hand over, asking functional forces to verify and find the owner.

After receiving information, Cat Thinh Commune Police conducted a review and verification of related information. By June 16, functional forces identified the owner of the above property as Mr. Dinh Trong Quyet, residing in Hung Thinh village, Cat Thinh commune.
Immediately after that, the Commune Police completed the necessary procedures and organized the full return of the money and the notebook to Mr. Quyet according to regulations. Receiving the lost property back, Mr. Quyet expressed his emotion and sent his thanks to Mr. Luong Phuc Loc as well as the Commune Police force for supporting the search for the property.

According to Cat Thinh Commune Police, Mr. Luong Phuc Loc's action is a beautiful gesture, showing honesty, responsibility and respectable civic consciousness.
