On August 8, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Xuan commune held a ceremony to hand over a charity house to Mr. Ho Tan Sao (68 years old, residing in Vinh Trinh hamlet), a household with housing difficulties.
The house has an area of over 83m2, with a total construction cost of 140 million VND, of which the locality mobilized Ninh Thuc Nu Duc Quang - Abbot of Thien Phuoc Pagoda, Tra On Commune and Buddhists to support 60 million VND through Quy Binh Minh - Thien Phuoc; the rest was contributed by relatives to complete the house more spaciously.
At the ceremony, the local government presented gifts to celebrate the new house; monk Thich Nu Duc Quang supported the family with an additional 2 million VND to buy essential items for daily use.
Ms. Dang Thi Be Sau - Secretary of the Vinh Xuan Commune Party Committee - said that mobilizing resources to support the construction of charity houses and civil works is of great significance.
"This is the result of the connection between the government, religious organizations and people, contributing to the good implementation of social security work," Ms. Sau added.

On the same morning, Vinh Xuan commune also held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Thien Phuoc 14 rural traffic bridge in Cong Da hamlet. The bridge is 26m long, 3m wide, with a total construction cost of 220 million VND, sponsored by Ninh Thich Nu Duc Quang.
This is a project to celebrate the Party Congresses at all levels, term 2025-2030 and is expected to be completed and inaugurated on October 20, contributing to traffic connection, serving local socio-economic development.
