In the joyful atmosphere of celebrating Vesak PL. 2570 – DL. 2026, Ngoc Son Zen Monastery (Phu Dinh ward) organized a program to give gifts to support households in difficult circumstances and people with disabilities in the area.
The gift-giving ceremony was spontaneously carried out by Nun Thich Nu An Lien - Abbot of Ngoc Son Pure Land Monastery, along with benefactors and Buddhist followers of the Monastery, with the desire to share some of the difficulties with the people during the Khanh Dan season of Tu Phu Thich Ca Mau Ni.
At the program, Nun Thich Nu An Lien sent words of gratitude to the Party Committee, the Front Work Committee of Quarter 28 and benefactors and Buddhists who joined hands to support so that meaningful gifts could be handed directly to workers in Quarters 28 and 29 (Phu Dinh ward).
The nun also encouraged people to try to overcome difficulties in life, and at the same time sent wishes to everyone to welcome a peaceful, joyful and healthy Buddha's Birthday.
A total of 200 gifts were given to people in difficult circumstances. Each gift is worth 250,000 VND, including necessities such as rice, noodles, soy sauce, sugar...
These gifts, although not of great value, contain the spirit of compassion and sharing of the abbot, Buddhists, philanthropists and benefactors dedicated to the people on the occasion of Buddha's Birthday PL. 2570.
