The sky and earth worship ceremony on Ngu Nhac Mountain is a typical ceremony of the Con Son - Kiep Bac Spring Festival (Chi Linh City, Hai Duong Province) to pray for sky and earth, gods and winds to bless the nation and people, and for favorable weather.
Ngu Nhac consists of 5 sacred mountains symbolizing the 5 sides corresponding to the Kim, Moc, Thuy, Hoa, Tho. Therefore, on each mountain top, there is a place to worship the gods of nature: Thanh De in the East, Bach De in the West, Xich De in the South, Hac De in the North and Hoang De in the Center.
The offering troupes departed from the foot of Ngu Nhac mountain, offering incense at 5 temples: Bac Nhac Mieu, Trung Nhac Mieu, Tay Nhac Mieu, Dong Nhac Mieu and Nam Nhac Mieu. At the Temple of Literature, the center of Ngu Nhac Linh Tu, the Organizing Committee conducted a ceremony to offer to heaven and earth.
Here, leaders of Hai Duong province, representatives of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Hai Duong province, and delegates and people attending the ceremony respectfully prayed for heaven, earth, gods and winds to bless the country with peace, favorable weather and good crops.

At the end of the ceremony, the provincial leaders presented grains to representatives of departments, branches, localities, people and tourists from all over the country. The grains include wheat, corn, beans, peanuts, and sesame, symbolizing the following fruits: ground, needles, water, fire, and wood. This is the most noble thing for humans and all things.
At the sky and earth offering ceremony, grains are sacred objects offered to worship Buddha, Saints, heaven, earth, ancestors... to thank and pray for national peace and a good harvest. The grains are distributed to the people as a result of the wish for thousands of products to flourish, the cup be crowned, the crop season is bountiful, and the people are full and warm, so that at the beginning of next year, they can bring grains to thank heaven and earth.
