At the workshop, Mr. Nguyen The Phuoc - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Tra Leng commune affirmed that cinnamon is not just a type of agricultural product but has become a flesh and blood part, associated with culture, customs and community cohesion of local people through many generations.
According to Mr. Phuoc, over the past time, the local government has always struggled to ensure that farmers not only get rich from cinnamon trees but also preserve the unique cultural features of the village. "Tra Leng cinnamon tree carries in itself heritage values, but for that value to spread, we cannot maintain the traditional, fragmented way of doing things forever. We need more scientific directions, from variety selection, care to processing and systematic brand building" - Mr. Nguyen The Phuoc emphasized.
Also according to Mr. Phuoc, the organization of this workshop is a strategic step forward. This is not only a place to introduce products, but also a forum for local leaders to listen to advice from managers, scientists and leading experts. He expressed his expectation that, through the opinions contributed here, the locality will have more specific solutions to remove bottlenecks in output, processing technology and improve the competitiveness of products in the domestic and foreign markets.

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Van Minh - Rector of the University of Education (Da Nang University), bringing knowledge and scientific research into local practice is a key task. The documentary films screened at the conference are a vivid proof of the journey of preserving livelihoods from cinnamon trees, and also a reminder of the responsibility to preserve the traditional values of the people.
The conference created a closely linked information system through a series of articles on ethnic history, cultural values and planning orientations. In particular, the launch of a brand identity set and a separate website platform for Que Tra Leng is considered an important "lever".
Through the workshop, Mr. Nguyen The Phuoc also expressed his belief that the consensus between the government, scientists and businesses will create a combined strength. "We want Tra Leng cinnamon not just to be a name, but to become a brand that affirms its value, helps people stabilize their lives, contributes to preserving forests and preserving the precious cultural values of this land" - Mr. Phuoc affirmed.
